Privacy Policy

Plain-English version: we collect the bare minimum to run the site, we don't sell your data, and we explain everything below.

What we collect

When you sign up, we store your email and any profile information you choose to add (username, display name, bio, avatar URL). When you post or comment, we store that content. We log basic technical data (timestamps, IP for rate-limiting) like every web service does.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't run third-party tracking pixels. Analytics, if any, are first-party and aggregate.

Anonymous posting

You can publish stories anonymously. Your username is hidden from the public, but we keep the link internally so we can moderate abuse. Law enforcement requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis with a strong bias toward your privacy.

Authentication providers

If you sign in with Twitch or Google, those services share your email and basic profile info with us per their normal OAuth flow. We don't get your password or access anything else.

Your control

You can edit your profile, change your email, change your password, delete individual stories or comments, or delete your entire account from /account/settings. Account deletion is immediate and cascades to all your content.

Cookies

We use a single auth cookie to keep you logged in. That's it. No tracking cookies.
